A California native, Sean Wood was born and raised in San Francisco. He later moved to Folsom, California-home to the state maximum security Folsom Prison. This is where his family still calls home and from where he draws majority of his musical inspiration. Wood was a classically trained musician first, on the violin since the age of 8, but after hearing a Carmen McCrae record in his junior year of high school, started pursuing jazz. This is where he continued, and with a culmination of his studies in the field, received a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music in 2005. Wood’s music is definitely his own, predominantly drawing on his exposure to folk, soul, bluegrass and jazz. He is currently recording his first full length album, which will be finished and released this year.

Canadian-born vibraphonist Dan McCarthy became a New Yorker three years ago and has never looked back. His sound,
one of the most distinct vibraphone sounds in the city, has been called "ambitious", "arresting", "showstopping", and it "walks
the tightrope between calm gentility and fiery abandon" (George Harris, AAJ LA). His debut album, INTERWORDS, was
named as one of the Top 10 Jazz CDs of 2006 by Toronto Star jazz writer Geoff Chapman.
Since moving to New York, Dan has had the pleasure perform all around New York at venues such as Birdland, The Cornelia
Street Cafe, and Kavehaz, with such noted musicians as Myron Walden, Gary Bartz, Robin Eubanks, Ingrid Jensen, and

Vocalist, songwriter and professional church musician Wendy Gilles is a versatile singer whose warm, inviting voice adapts effortlessly to whichever genre she incorporates into her musical vocabulary. She recently completed her Master of Music from New England Conservatory, where she studied with Dominique Eade and John McNeil and was a featured soloist in ensembles led by faculty and guest artists such as Bob Brookmeyer, Dave Holland and Django Bates.
Since moving to New York in 2006, Wendy has been involved as a collaborative artist in many projects and performs regularly as a leader of her own ensemble. She has appeared at such venues as Cornelia Street Café, Rose Live Music, and Via Della Pace singing her original compositions, jazz standards, and eclectic covers with fresh simplicity and sophistication.

Vocalist David Devoe has performed with Steve Lacy, Kenny Wheeler, Ben Monder, Ben Street, Butch Morris, The Matt Wilson Quartet, and Mulgrew Miller in venues such as Sweet Rhythm, Joe's Pub, 55 Bar, Regattabar, Ryles, The Maine Jazz Festival, and Jordan Hall. Although heavily immersed in jazz, Devoe incorporates elements from other genres including repertoire by some of his favorite "non-jazz" composers including Patty Larkin, Lori McKenna and Deb Talan.

CAROL BRENNAN is the published author of 6 mystery/psychological suspense novels, each in hardcover and paperback; rights sold in U.K. and Italy.
PAMELA GROSSMAN is a journalist whose work has been published in outlets including "The Village Voice," "Ms.," and Salon.com. This is her first theater piece.
JACK LEVIN is a poet and playwright. He is gathering his first book of poems.
MARLENE NICHOLS is a writer/performer and at least one of her multiple personalities has appeared at the D-Lounge, Bowery Poetry Club, Mo Pitkins, Rubin Museums of Art, and Stage Left Studios. She received a 2006 Fantasy Fountain Fund grant to write in Paris where she gave readings at Cafe Universel and Shakespeare & Company. A founding member of the New York based storytelling group Mouthpiece, she is also a regular guest performer at the biweekly erotica show, Forbidden Kiss.
