She came to New York to attend New School University where she graduated with high honors and a degree in jazz voice and composition. Since then she has established herself as a solo performer in New York and a leader of the Becca Stevens Band (also known as BSB). Becca collaborates with other musicians in the city and is the singer of Travis Sullivan's Bjorkestra. She has written lyrics for and recorded with Frank LoCrasto on his debut record "When You're There" (Max Jazz, '06), and for the album "Shock Value Live at Smoke" by Jeremy Pelt's band Wired (Max Jazz, '07). Becca also recorded with Sam Sadigursky's Words Project (New Amsterdam 2007), Andy Milne on Dapp Theory's "Layers of Chance" (Concord Records '08), the Bjorkestra's debut album "Enjoy" (Koch Records '08), and on The Solos Unit's "Electric City" (Independent release '07). Becca sings with other groups such as Bing & Ruth, the Elan Mehler Group, Monocle, and Apology Task Force. Festivals and other feature performances include the San Francisco Jazz Festival ('08), NYC Winter Jazz Fest ('08), featured soloist at the Roanoke Island Festival in Manteo, NC with the NCSA Big Band ('07), IAJE ('06), Jazz Improv LIVE! Becca teaches Suzuki guitar and Music-in-the-Box, a music readiness program for very young children, at the Greenwich Suzuki Academy in Connecticut.

Amanda Baisinger has cultivated a distinct style that is based in jazz, folk and pop. She has collaborated with people such as the formidable pianist, producer and arranger Vadim Neselovskyi, who is currently the pianist for Grammy Award winning Vibraphonist Gary Burton. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, Amanda has been performing and teaching music in New England and New York. Most recently she has recorded an album of original music with an all-star cast of young emerging jazz musicians in New York.
